Vacuum Technology/Dynavac is Hiring a MATERIALS HANDLER/WATER SPIDER Near Hingham, MA
Dynavac is in search of a Material Handler/Water Spider. The successful candidate will have the skills and initiative to become a member of our warehouse team and interface with all entities and management levels of the company. This position impacts the efficient flow of material and throughout the facility.
Dynavac, located in Hingham MA (south of Boston), is a growing custom engineering and manufacturing company. Work orders are project based, typically unique, and range in size and scope from < $50K to $5MM . Typical systems require a broad range of technical disciplines including:
Design and fabrication of medium to large scale pressure vacuum vessels
Design and assembly of complex mechanisms and material-handling systems
Field integration of shop-built components

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist, support and backfill for all warehouse functions and related projects.
Shipping coordination
Receiving
Order picking/ transacting and delivery to internal customers
Inventory transactions and location put away
Inventory validation
Kitting
Cycle counting
Participation in annual physical inventory
Kanban trigger point maintenance
Kanban board process associate
Reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies within ERP system
Run daily reports, assist, support or execute actionable output
Maintain a safe and clean workplace environment.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS
Associate Degree or High School Diploma along with relevant work experience
Experience in Epicor a plus
Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, a plus
Experience in a project-based manufacturing environment a plus
Ability to read prints/DWG’s
Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite

Ordinary requirements found in a warehouse and shop floor work environment. Intermittent outdoor activity. OEM Manufacturing facility with inherent manufacturing hazards.
