Onsite IT Support Specialist Job Summary:This role will start as a one year contract with potential to convert to fulltime employment. The position will be responsible for providing IT support for a growing organization and the ideal candidate will have strong communication, a positive personality, and a passion to grow personally as well as alongside the organization long-term.This role requires employees to be fully onsite Monday through Friday 8-5 hours across two locations in Durham. Key responsibilities/experience:- Using Windows 10 upgrading to Windows 11- Azure, Microsoft 365 ( including Teams )- Freshservice for ITSM/ticketing- ManageEngine for remote support/RMM- Ticket handling, documentation, and asset management - Managing hardware stockroom, imaging PCs, and Windows support- May need to support remote/WFH employees as well- ManageEngine Endpoint Central (formerly Desktop Central, for remote support/RMM)- Microsoft Intune (for device management)Most important things:- Someone who is reliable and is a self-starter that takes initiative- At least 1-2 years of helpdesk experience- Good communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills- Ability to be professional and maintain a good reputation with employees- Ownership and responsibility over work- Ability to come to the table with solutions rather than just problems- Willingness to go on-site to clients when needed
