Cloud Systems Administrator Hybrid onsite two days / week in Parsippany, New Jersey Direct Hire Opportunity The Cloud Administrator's role includes provisioning, maintaining, and improving the companies functionality of their Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure while working alongside cloud engineers and other IT staff to ensure the continued availability of critical systems and applications. Responsibilities: * Comfortable creating innovative business solutions based on your Azure Cloud networking and administration experience. * Participate in the design and implementation of secure operational solutions and services across the business and IT support areas. * Support migration and deployment of applications to Azure Cloud environment * Implementation and operations of operational capabilities and tooling (Azure native first) required for ongoing operations in the areas of: o Monitoring o Alerting o Security Controls o Backups/Restore o Disaster Recovery * Develop and maintain software solutions/scripts to support automation of cloud configuration and administration. * Implement cloud infrastructure solution offerings based on public cloud, private cloud, hybrid client environments, and multi-cloud environments. * Support security audits, accreditation, and certification processes for cloud-based system architectures * Build, maintain and monitor comprehensive alerting and monitoring tools to maintain awareness of, and expedite troubleshooting of infrastructure related issues in Azure environments. * Advise on best practices for the implementation of Cloud components, tools, dashboards, and automation. * Refining and ensuring team members follow a rigorous server patching/vulnerability remediation process. * Recommend and implement cloud computing environment resource cost management based on capacity management. * Willingness to provide after-hours support on a rotating schedule. Qualifications: * MCSA Training or equivalent in the Server and Cloud Administration Learning Path * Knowledge of production readiness and operation capabilities using tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel, Azure Automation, Azure Backup, Azure Security Center, etc. * Competencies with IaaS and PaaS services such as VMs, Azure Service Environment ASE, Azure Kubernetes Service AKS, Spring Cloud, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc. * Clear understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers, and Firewalls in Azure. Knowledgeable in general infrastructure technology and understand public and private cloud concepts such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Desktop as a Service (DaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). * Experience with automation to Infrastructure * Experience with the Cloud, Windows/SQL Server, PowerShell scripting, and virtualization * Experience developing, deploying, configuring, and managing cloud-based systems supporting enterprise web-based applications. * Ability to manage Azure subscriptions and resources, implement and manage storage, deploy, and manage virtual machines, PaaS services, configure and manage virtual networks, and manage identities.
