V3 Sports is Hiring a Community Engagement and Partnership Manager Near Minneapolis, MN

Who We Are

V3 Sports is a nonprofit located in vibrant North Minneapolis, focused on elevating our community through wellness, fitness, and education! Thanks to our amazing partners, donors, and incredible community members, we have been making waves in Minneapolis, serving over a thousand families since 2007.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

Our mission at V3 Sports is to elevate our community, and one of our passions is educating our community on how to swim. Every year, an unnecessary number of deaths occur due to drowning. V3 is continuing to develop aquatic programs that help people of all ages learn how to stay afloat in the water.

The V3 Center (Phase One) is almost ready to open its doors to our community! We will provide aquatics and fitness offerings, on-site childcare and a new home for the Boys and Girls Club. Our goal is to begin the Phase Two expansion (adding a 50-meter pool, basketball courts, a track, and more) at the end of 2024 and complete it in 2027.

Wages and Benefits

$59,000 - $65,000 annual salary range; Generous paid time off; Paid Holidays; Competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits; Company-paid life insurance; voluntary life insurance; employer-paid short-term disability and long-term disability. Retirement benefits coming in 2024.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Engaging with the North Minneapolis community and seeking opportunities with entrepreneurs for programming and partnership to ensure V3’s programs are fully inclusive, innovative, integrated, and effective in meeting the objectives of V3’s mission.
  • Acting as an external advocate for V3, continually engaging in learning opportunities about the North Minneapolis community, with a particular focus on those that have traditionally or historically lacked access to water safety, health, and wellness.
  • Overseeing contracts, agreements, and programming details to ensure they are meeting quality assurance standards in coordination with the Facility Director and Program Manager.
  • Understanding and communicating funding resources with external partners.
  • In coordination with the Membership and Program Manager, developing a unified strategic communication strategy to be deployed for use with members, community, staff, and partners regarding V3’s space and programming.

  • Solicit community perspective, ensuring accurate collection of qualitative and anecdotal data to inform V3’s programming and initiatives.
