Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions in the ICU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans
- Operate and monitor medical equipment
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Valid RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- or critical care setting preferred
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Knowledge of Dementia care, Memory care, and Tube Feeding
- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- Understanding of ICD-9 coding
- Experience with Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a plus
