Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate and specialized care to patients in critical condition. Responsibilities:
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on their condition
- Administer medication and treatments according to established protocols
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform procedures such as IV infusions, wound care, and aseptic techniques
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Adhere to nursing standards and protocols to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with behavioral health professionals for patients requiring mental health support
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients in emergency situations
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care or emergency room nursing preferred
- Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing principles and practices
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
