Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to our patients and assist the nursing staff in delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff
- Collect and document patient information, such as medical history and current symptoms
- Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals
- Ensure patient safety by maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during patient care
- Assist with the transportation of patients within the facility

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Experience in medical-surgical or hospital medicine settings preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, such as Epic, is a plus
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and infectious disease care protocols
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including children
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
