V EYE P Eyecare + Eyewear is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Irving, TX

Our busy optometry practice is seeking an Optometric Technician and Receptionist to help us give patients a 5-star experience every time they’re here. This opportunity is offering you a full-time position in healthcare!

What you’ll be doing as a V EYE P team member:

As a member of our work family, you’ll be handling a lot of the important work that goes on to set the doctor and the patient up for success.

Experience Needed:

Prior medical office and eyecare experience is necessary for these positions. We are seeking the right people with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning! We will make sure you’re totally confident working with the equipment and patients before you start handling these tasks alone.

Some of your duties will include:

- Spending 15 minutes with each patient before the doctor comes in to obtain medical history and do pre-exam measurements.

- Scheduling patients for appointments and optimizing the schedule. Checking in/out patients. General administrative tasks.

- Educating patients on what their benefits cover

- Keeping the office looking clean, neat and welcoming

- Doing inventory, ordering, sending and receiving shipments
