Job Description
90% FTE, evening/night position with a weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
  • Join our remarkable highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team, to provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families in this state-of-the art 21-bed unit.
  • Provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with a wide variety of both medical and surgical problems. Problems include: acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi system organ failure, and ECMO.

Education:
Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
Work Experience:
Minimum - Six (6) months relevant nursing experience.
Preferred - Recent acute inpatient experiences. Pediatric experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification. PALS certification within six (6) months of hire
