UW Health is Hiring a Neurodiagnostic Tech II (EEG) Near Madison, WI

Work Schedule:

  • Day: 8 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm
  • Evening: 8 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 3:00 pm and 11:30 pm
  • Night: 8/10/12 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 pm - 7:30 am

Pay:

  • External hires may be eligible for up to a $3,000.00 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).
  • Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech II (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech) to:

  • Conduct complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and review, anlayze and prepare descriptive report following procedure.
  • Complete daily laboratory operations with the main emphasis on high quality patient related procedures which adhere to guidelines and technical standards.
  • Interact with patients and families regarding procedural direction and information, developing patient rapport and confidence.
  • Implement alternative methods and/or make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal recording, adapting procedure to particular clinical circumstance.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic tech program. Four (4) years of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of graduation from an electroneurodiagnostic tech program in addition to the experience below.

Work Experience:

Minimum - One (1) year of experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

1) Current registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT).

2) CPR Certification
