JOB TITLE: 

Lab Technician

JOB PURPOSE: 

Assist in laboratory duties to support SIF lab functions, including but not limited to lab cleaning and organization, sample preparation, and data entry. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Weigh milligram sized samples into tins, clean lab glassware and equipment, grind samples, keep records and enter data into various software programs. Analyze samples using Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers and their peripherals.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: 

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

Basic lab experience
