JOB TITLE:
Assistant University Extension Educator, 4-H Youth Development serving Crook County, Sundance, WY
JOB PURPOSE:
This position provides educational programs in the area of 4-H Youth Development in Crook County; provides leadership for traditional and non-traditional 4-H and youth programs; and supports general Extension functions in Crook County. Crook County has approximately 150 4-H members, 25 volunteer leaders, and 10 active 4-H Clubs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual in this position works as a representative of the University of Wyoming (UW) in the delivery of a comprehensive 4-H Youth Development program. This function is realized through existing and new youth clubs, school enrichment activities, and other educational programming. Duties include:

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to UW Extension clientele and requires the successful candidate be available to work in the local Crook County Extension Office.

This position is located in Sundance, Wyoming. Sundance lies at the foot of Sundance Mountain in the Black Hills National Forest. Crook County is home to many points of interest, including Devils Tower National Monument, Vore Buffalo Jump, and the Crook County Museum.
