Description

Individuals in this role must be highly motivated and able to work independently, with team members, and under the supervision of the Field Service Manager. This position will have the opportunity to be promoted to a Water Meter Installer. 

Responsibilities include:

• Knocking door to door to schedule Water Meter Installation appointments for customers
• Utilizing the company scheduling site (via a company-provided handheld device) to collect customer contact & appointment information.
• Travel from one area to another, as determined by the Field Service Management team.
• Stay in constant communication with the Field Service Manager.
• Keep up with ongoing opportunities.
• Answering questions about the appointment and/or Meter Upgrade.
• Maintain a professional appearance & follow required uniform & grooming standards.
• Meet quotas & completion deadlines set out by the company and management.
• Pay attention to detail & demonstrate strong time management skills.
• Professionally communicate with others and possess clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Follow standards of safety, productivity, and quality of work.

UMS will provide step-by-step training to be successful.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• $15.09 per hour plus the below incentives.
• $15 per 120 tags
• $3 per scheduled appointment
• $5 per Install scheduled and completed/ same day.
• $50 per week for mileage 

• Tuesday - Friday (12 pm - 8 pm)
• Saturdays (9am - 3pm) 
• Weekly Paycheck

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have and maintain a vehicle & proof of insurance.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must have clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work all required shifts.
• Achieve standards of safety, productivity, and quality of work.
• Should have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be capable of working under the following conditions:
  • Wear a company-approved uniform as well as the required PPE, which is provided by the company.
  • Stand, walk, reach, using hands and arms frequently.
  • Perform work outdoors, in variable weather conditions and environments.
  • Following oral and written directions, plans, and instructions from the Field Service Manager.
