Job Description
- Establishes and administers training programs within the assigned restaurant.
- Counsels, guides and instructs personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
- Direct the development and administration of controls for all phases of the restaurant in an economical and profitable manner while maintaining established standards.
- Assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspects menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.
- Supervises staff on shift and ensures proper staffing levels in order to provide high standards of service with minimum labor hours.
- Ensures that available facilities are adequate for performance of duties by assigned personnel.
- Maintains and instructs assigned personnel on safety policies and procedures, and follows up to ensure that hazards are eliminated.
- Monitors appearance of food served and communicates deviations from standard.
- Performs assigned input work in helping compiling annual budgets, enters daily sales, orders, POS Issues and help maintains restaurant inventory.
- Prepares and coordinates the periodical performance reviews of assigned personnel.
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Ute Mountain Casino
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Education Preferred:
- College Degree Preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills,
- 5 years' experience in restaurant industry in a management role required.
- Ability to continuously stand and maneuver in confined area.
- Ability to frequently push or pull 25lbs.
- Ability to frequently lift 25-50 lbs.
- Ability to continually stand and/or walk entire shift.
- Must be able to work a fluctuating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in hot or cold environment.
