Reporting to the Associate Dean, the Sr. Accountant maintains and reconciles ledgers and accounts according to generally accepted accounting principles. Prepares and analyzes financial information, prepares reports and financial statements based upon derived statistics and analysis performed.The ideal candidate would be a highly organized, reliable self-starter; willing to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently; and have experience working in an accounting or finance role. The candidate must organize and track a significant volume of transactions, work with many staff members in the department, and be adept at interpreting accounting systems and requirements.This job is considered “essential.” Therefore, it is required that the employee be on-campus, in-person.
