The Study Design and Biostatistics Center (SDBC) at the University of Utah is seeking a MS statistician to carry out statistical analyses in collaboration with clinical and translational investigators.We are a multidisciplinary group of biostatisticians, epidemiologists, psychometricians, health economists, survey design researchers, and systematic review experts engaged in a wide range of collaborations throughout the Health Science Center of the University of Utah. The SDBC serves as theStatistical Core within the Population Health Research Foundation of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Utah and provides a rich environment for methodological and applied biomedical research across the university. Focus areas of SDBC and Population HealthResearch faculty include the design of clinical trials and observational studies, longitudinal analysis, survival analysis, epidemiologic modeling, Bayesian analysis, modern causal inference, analysis of biomarkers, statistical genetics and genomics, computational statistics, health economics, methods for the design and conduct of systematic reviews, structural equations models, and qualitative research.This position requires an ability to relocate to Salt Lake City, Utah, but it may have the option for a hybrid – partial onsite/partial telecommute – work schedule.
