Responsibilities include:Creating custom CAN/LIN/FlexRay protocol gateways between UTAC software platform and customer UUTsCreate scripts in Vector CAPL and ICS Vehicle spy to simulate vehicle environment required for testingProactively work during the quoting process to identify required equipment and support for new projectsInteract with customers for requirement specifications.Create ‘Best method’ procedures for internal and customer use, such as:Profile writing; standard, tips and tricks, default examplesStandardized start-up, shutdown and soft stop functions and examplesCreate documents and also lead training sessions and customer workshopsLiaison between software development and commissioning/systems/testing groupsAttend kick off meetings, and work with PMs on new control and automation IPTrain commissioning personnel using developed documentation and on-site support as neededProvide on the job training of all systems for customers and end usersQualificationsDegree in electrical, mechanical, software engineering, computer science, or 3 years of relevant experienceKnowledge of control components (sensors, motor control devices, DAQ systems)LabVIEW programming experienceVector CANoe/CANalyzer and/or VehicleSpy knowledgeStrong problem solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and customer interfacing skillsStrong written and verbal skillsAdditional InformationFor you, as a potential UTAC team member, we believe that the international and diverse nature of our business combined with the passion, energy and friendliness of our people create a great place to work.
