UT Southwestern is Hiring a Remote Programmer Analyst III - Revenue Cycle

JOB SUMMARY:
UT Southwestern Medical Center has a new position available within the Revenue Cycle Department for the role of Programmer Analyst. Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
Create and maintain scripts for Revenue Cycle EPIC, PB, HB, PAS.
Develop automation software solutions that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable and scalable for the revenue cycle operations team
Create and maintain documentation for the delivery and maintenance of software automation for continued development and upgrades
Assist with development of SOP and workflow analysis to deliver streamlined workflows for both bot automations as well as human intervention
Work within the project planning constraints and elevate any risks or issues accordingly to senior management
Support the deployment of the automation solutions, resolve any errors, and document changes as part of the living documents
Participate in code review of developed automation solutions for improvement and efficiency Proficiency with other programming languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, etc., preferred. SQL - Preferred.
Shift: Flex-shift 8 hours, starting between 0600-0900
Work From Home (WFH): This position is intended to work from home. Additional details shall be discussed as part of the interview process. Applicant must live in Texas.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:REQUIRED:
High school graduation supplemented by successful completion of vocational training in computer programming.
And seven (7) years’ experience in computer operation and/or programming, including at least one (1) year as Programmer Analyst II or equivalent.
College degree in related field may be used in lieu of experience.
JOB DUTIES:
Defines and analyzes business and/or scientific problems of most complex type or assists user personnel in analyzing and defining such problems for computer solutions.
Designs computer systems to accomplish solution of each problem, integrating computer capabilities with user requirements.
Reanalyzes computer programming problems from original design and makes modifications as necessary.
Selects or modifies existing computer programs or applicable program systems and structures data formats for solution of problems.
Implements or leads implementation of systems or job streams.
Assists in estimating required project resources.
Provides technical advice and guidance to other computer professionals for solution of work problems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed primarily in a general office environment.
