Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and
direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
Consistently demonstrates competence, compliance and accurate documentation during care delivery in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and Hospital & Departmental Policies and Procedures.
Routinely cares for patients’ and families’ needs and/or performs department specific activities with excellent organizational skill, efficiency and appropriate fiscal accountability.
Provides excellent customer service, teamwork and communication using the SBAR communication principals during all interactions of job role.
Continuously synthesizes and evaluates assessment data to gain a comprehensive clinical picture and effectively uses supervisory skills and nursing process to independently and collaboratively anticipate, intervene and deliver excellent patient care.
Actively contributes to clean, safe, positive and professional work and patient care environment.
Actively participates in professional development, professional organizations, unit counsels, quality improvement initiatives promoting personal and institutional growth and improvements.
