USTA National Tennis Center Inc is Hiring a (seasonal) Housekeeping - US Open Suites Near New York, NY

Each year, for three weeks in the late summer, the US Open is the focus of the sports & entertainment universe. Passionate fans from around the world come to NYC to witness the toughest tennis on the game’s biggest stage. With more than 900,000 on-site visitors, over 224 million television viewers worldwide and over 45 million online visitors globally in 2023, why not come and enjoy the thrill and excitement of working with our team? We are seeking Suite Cleaners who play an essential role in the US Open guest experience. 

The Role

  • Greet and assist all staff and guests in a welcoming and friendly manner
  • Assist with the cleaning of Arthur Ashe seating bowl (inner stadium) between matches and at the end of the last match
  • Perform cleaning services throughout the facility (stadium, restrooms, grounds, etc.)
  • Empty all trash and dirty towel receptacles
  • Maintain an account for all supplies provided by the NTC Team
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

  • Previous guest or customer service related experience
  • Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in a clean, well-maintained uniform
  • Available to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament
  • Must be able to work 8 hour shifts and be available days, nights and weekends
  • Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and able to stand for extended periods
  • Personable and proactive team player with excellent communication skills
  • Remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment as well as during stressful situations
  • Bilingual (preferred)

Salary: $17 per hour; overtime eligible

$35 daily meal allowance during tournament (via credential)
