You Are:

UST is looking for a talented and creative Java Developer for one of the leading healthcare providers in the United States. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a growing environment. The ideal candidate must have strong skills in JAVA, J2EE, WEBSPHERE, MONGO DB,MAVEN, JENKINS,EJB2, ANGULAR 2,SPRING CORE at the same time be able to put their creative hat in a problem-solving environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team is key to be successful in this role.

The Opportunity:

• Work with architect group for solutions that articulate the business context, conceptual design and component-level logical design.
• Ensure development is in compliance with overall architecture vision for the platform and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged
• Participate in design activities and own the development of the work assigned.
• Work closely with QA and integration team to resolve issues.
• Understand the construction of platform architecture components.

What you need:

• Java J2EE
• WebSphere
• HIBERNATE 3.2
• Web Services, JIRA
• Hands-on technical lead with exposure and experience in a wide variety of Java technologies with specific expertise in the Spring suite of products. [Spring core, Transaction, AOP, ORM, MVC, data, security, session, web sockets, cloud].
• Front end frameworks like ExtJS or libraries like JQuery, AJAX.
• Solid markup skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Experience with Bootstrap frontend framework.
• Experience with developing UI for single page applications
• Angular2 and Typescript
• Jasmine and Karma frameworks.
• Struts 1.x and 2.x
• Database (SQL Server - Intermediate knowledge preferred)
• JUnit/ Unit Testing frameworks
• Elasticsearch APIs
• EJB 2
• MongoDB
• Knowledge of Netflix OSS products and tools is good to have.
• Experience developing in cloud based virtualized environments is preferred.
• Experience with responsive and mobile design
• Drools 5
• Maven
• Jenkins
• GIT/Subver
• Able to understand the technology roadmap and delivers cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness.
• Experience in designing, marking up, developing the UI of websites and/or web applications.
• Co ordinating with the offshore team on the deliverables.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $84,000-$126,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
