Airframe Mechanic
North Charleston, SC
Duration: 6 month contract
2nd Shift (2:30 p.m. - 11 p.m.)
Available for weekend on call work every 3rd or 4th weekend a month.
Job Description:
As the Airframe Mechanic, you will work at our North Charleston, SC Operation performing a variety of tasks related to the delivery of company power plants and associated systems for aircraft.
Key Accountabilities:

• Removing and installing Line Replacement Units (LRU’s) and engine components as well as repair work
• Engine Removal/Installation
• Incorporate modifications and inspecting / evaluating engine components
• Providing assistance to troubleshoot and resolve engine and aircraft system malfunctions
• Collecting and reporting engine-related information
• Must be willing to work on any shift (days, afternoons and nights) or rotate as necessary in any shift pattern
• Required to be available for Service Support on a 24-hour basis, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift, hold and carry up to 50 pounds unaided
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma with 2 years’ experience in aircraft engine mechanics
• In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
• A&P license

Preferred Requirements:

• Associates degree
• Jet engine experience
• Maintenance experience on large jet engines
• Experience in manufacturing or aviation industry
