Oasis Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist

Job Summary: This position requires you to perform through the use of accepted techniques and practices, as well as providing high quality Radiographic studies, to practice proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed, and performs a variety of tasks in an often hectic environment that require a high degree of skill, confidence, autonomy, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Duties include operation of X-ray equipment, C-ARMS, preparing patient rooms and the equipment. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed. Exams include all surgery, radiology cases and regular diagnostic cases.

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Licensed by an Accredited as Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience using C-Arms in an Operating room.
• Must possess independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
