Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our Post Surgical Unit!

Patient Care Technician at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth:

• Within the Post Surgical Unit, the Patient Care Technician will interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on phone and in person for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center.

• Performs clerical duties including distribution of messages.

• Performs clinical duties, under the direction of an RN or LVN, including assisting patients to the restroom, removing IV catheters, etc.

• Cleans rooms if needed.

• Assists RNs as instructed.

• Any other duties as instructed by supervisor.

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT), Medical Assistant Certification (MA), or equivalent
• BLS Required

• Previous experience Electronic Healthcare Record helpful
