Job SummaryDelivers and supports audio equipmentfrom loaner pool available to faculty, staff and student organizations;provides first level support for permanently installed audio and videoequipment; assists with the support of classroom equipment, including SMART andinteractive video classrooms. Providesfirst level support for security camera systems throughout campus.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assists customers in the identification of appropriate audio/video technologies, writing of specifications, product evaluations, price quotations, purchasing equipment, effectiveness of equipment, and training to operate audio systems effectively.
2. Serves as the key resource for audio/video technology to campus during presentations, athletic events, commencement, and other university functions.
3. Supports security camera systems including repairs and training.
4. Maintains current awareness of developing trends in audio/video technology. Attends certification and training classes when available. 
5. Assists with the support of classroom equipment, including but not limited to SMART and interactive video classrooms. Serves as first level of technical support for classroom audio/video technology. 
6. Serves as support on audio/video projects for satellite campus locations and as a point of contact for audio/video projects as needed.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
