What we are looking for?

• Previous Mechanical or industrial experience a plus.
• Ability to perform manual labor (i.e. heavy lifting, confined space entry, working at heights, etc.).
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Valid Drivers License/ State Issued ID.
• TWIC Card.
• Pass a physical, drug test, and background check.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with supervisor in completing repairs on USES equipment.
• Own and maintain in good condition an "industry standard" collection of tools.
• Participate in maintenance program by not only performing repairs, but also by analyzing the root causes of the equipment damage.
• Diagnose mechanical problems to minimize the need for extensive replacement of parts.
• Utilize preventative maintenance techniques to eliminate on the job problems.
• Use road calls not only to solve on the job problems, but communicate these problems so that similar episodes may be minimized.
• Keep a clean organized work area.
• Participate actively in safety and accident prevention programs.
• Continually upgrade technical knowledge, and act as an information source for service crews.
