The Bismarck Plant Materials Center (PMC) is hiring 2 summer seasonal positions

Starting Wage:
$16.95/hr
Work Schedule: (Flexible)
Up to 72 hours bi-weekly with paid federal holidays.
Qualifications: Individuals with a farming/ranching background or those pursing a career in a natural resources related field are preferred, but not necessary. Self-motivated, positive attitude, adaptable and willing to learn. Must be 16 years of age or older.
Overview of Job Duties: Responsible for establishing and maintaining research plots. Irrigates, fertilizes, and applies pesticides according to the conservation plan. Assists with monitoring grass/cover crop plantings, harvesting foundation seed/grass plots, and collecting data on study plots. Maintains equipment, facilities and grounds. Participates in technology transfer activities, PMC field days and trainings.
