Your next role could help our industry-leading team deliver and maintain the monthly close process and ensure the AP and AR processes are followed. We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Transactions Manager to join us in producing solutions as we bring next-generation connectivity to our customers across the country. Based in our New York office, you’ll have the opportunity to develop internal controls and have responsibility for processing payables and receivables. What you’ll be doing As part of the accounting team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless financial operations, maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships, and contributing to the financial success of our organization. At all levels, colleagues will rely on your keen eye and accounting knowledge to make sure that statements are accurate. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with: Ensuring accuracy of billings to customers and appropriate revenue recognition Reviewing and implementing processes for timely collection of outstanding monies from customers Ensuring appropriate cash approval processes and payments for the US business Serve as the subject matter expert on AR and AP operations, to ensure compliance in processing and accounting Supervise and lead a team of small team of AR/AP professionals Develop policies, procedures, and data verification routines to ensure the integrity of information that is shared between the accounting system and Workday Finance Provide audit support as necessary to the finance team to ensure completion of the external audit What you’ll bring Think you could make a difference here? You will also have some of the following: Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Proficiency in ERP systems Leadership experience reflecting a high level of integrity and trust Thorough understanding of accounts receivable and general ledger systems and procedures.
