Responsibilities

The Program Coordinator position for Project Inspire would be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all activities related to Project Inspire; these activities include the core intervention sessions, events to raise awareness about the program, activities to solicit and maintain funds for the program, setting budgets, organizing volunteer committees, and using interpersonal and leadership skills to benefit the program; this position is also responsible for helping oversee the successful completion of the annual program, various projects, and special events; duties will include performing and completing specialized tasks while overseeing activities and details for measuring the overall success of the program; schedule and organize agenda for Project Inspire classes; coordinate volunteer participation; prepare surveys and help facilitate research related to Project Inspire; develop and maintain all records related to the program; develop and maintain the program budget; serve as the primary point of contact for participants and families, volunteers, and program partners; develop and maintain a positive relationship with stakeholders, leaders, and service groups; provide transportation for participants through company vehicle as needed (limited to program hours); develop, distribute, and track all marketing materials for education and outreach programs; provide timely and thorough support in responding to all manner of inquiries, etc.; maintain accurate record-keeping and provide semi-annual program updates to stakeholders and partners; oversee the creation and maintenance of the PI website, social media platforms, and marketing materials; knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; experience in data management and analysis highly desirable; familiarity with social media and networking platforms; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.

Qualifications

Associates degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements. Bachelor's degree preferred.
