Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and dedication to safety. As an OTR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, over long distances to deliver freight to various destinations.

2. Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.

3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning.

4. Secure cargo and properly distribute weight to maintain vehicle stability during transit.

5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, shippers, and receivers to coordinate delivery schedules and provide updates on shipment status.

6. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and hours of service in accordance with regulatory requirements.

7. Monitor and report any issues or concerns with the vehicle or cargo to the appropriate personnel.

8. Follow designated routes and ensure on-time delivery of goods while minimizing delays and detours.

9. Demonstrate professionalism and courteous behavior when interacting with customers and other road users.

10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, compliance, and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

1. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

2. Minimum of 3 months’ experience driving a tractor-trailer in the last 12 months years, with a preference for OTR experience.

3. Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and drug screening.

4. Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.

5. Excellent driving skills, including maneuvering and backing up large vehicles in various road and weather conditions.

6. Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.

7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures and protocols.

8. Flexibility to work long hours and extended periods away from home, including weekends and holidays.

9. Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of long-distance driving and cargo handling.

10. Willingness to undergo additional training and certifications as required by the company.
