The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Package Engineering Data Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Organizing and leading projects that drive process efficiencies within the organization Having a major impact on the direct work group/team, as well as the next higher organizational tier Leading project team with direct people management responsibility Meeting the needs of Package Engineering and business groups through functional requirements analysis and presenting systems solutions Working knowledge of product lifecycle management, change management processes, and ERPs (SAP) Deploying process and system solutions globally as required Identifying future opportunities to increase process and organizational efficiencies by leveraging PLM and ERP corporate solutions Performing systems testing in support of new or modified systems programming Documenting global position statements, WIs, SOPs as necessary Applying knowledge and expertise through leadership and advancement of global packaging solutions Being a subject matter expert to whom the leadership team reaches out to with regards to his/her specialization within packaging functional disciplines Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in Packaging. OR High School diploma from an accredited institution AND a minimum of twelve (12) years' experience in Packaging. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Thorough knowledge of theories and practices, typically applied to one or more disciplines within Package Engineering organizational areas such Client Services, Continuous Improvement, Systems, Quality, Regulatory Affairs Management Center (RAMC), Graphics Design, etc Working knowledge of ISO 13485, cGMP, and GS1 Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a master’s degree or higher in computer science, manufacturing related, or information systems Familiarity of working with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement business functions Skills include strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility is normally required Work location: Remote USA Travel: May include up to 10% Domestic/International Relocation Assistance: Not authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
