Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: Working in a participative team-based environment, using Continuous Improvement (CI) processes and principles, the Principal Engineer provides cross-functional teams the technical knowledge and leadership required for the development of manufacturing equipment essential to line extensions and product improvements. Assignments include the application of expert knowledge to improve manufacturing competitive performance. Plans and leads medium to large sized projects/programs that include the integration of outside resources. Provides solutions to a wide range of difficult to sophisticated problems using in-depth manufacturing specific knowledge, combined with the application of engineering principles. Independently determines approach and specific solutions to technical problems. Demonstrates good judgment in risk taking. Widely viewed as a technical authority within Clorox. Significantly contributes to major technology efforts within the organization. May serve as a work team leader for large/complex projects. Typically leads projects with a value of less than $5,000,000. What we look for: BSME / BSEE / BSChE or equivalent work experience 8 years of engineering experience Able to influence and accomplish work through others. Outstanding written & verbal communication skills. Ability to mentor and develop self and others in the course of completing work assignments.
