US11084-ALACUS Air Liquide Large Industries U.S. LP is Hiring a Production Technician Near Bayport, TX

Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Fully supports operations of gas turbine generators, water treatment equipment, waste effluent treatment and high pressure steam production. Accurately completes production records, maintains, and conforms to corporate Health, Safety and Environmental policies/procedures and relevant documentation at the facility. Demonstrates identified skill sets in daily operational duties in monitoring operating performance and reporting to management in a timely manner. Fully supports operations of gas turbine generators, water treatment equipment, waste effluent treatment and high pressure steam production. Accurately completes production records, maintains, and conforms to corporate Health, Safety and Environmental policies/procedures and relevant documentation at the facility. Demonstrates identified skill sets in daily operational duties in monitoring operating performance and reporting to management in a timely manner. Actively pursuing own growth/career development through self-initiative practices; working with resources made available as coordinated with shift leads and manager. Participates in operational/routine maintenance tasks within the facility work group without interruption of customer product deliveries. Fosters open communication among all facility technicians in relation to best practices, operational/facility needs, safety issues/concerns, conflicts of interest between shifts/other departments, sharing operational knowledge/expertise. Assists/works closely with shift leader and manager with daily facility needs. Generates work orders and ensures accurate/complete information in maintenance work orders. Participate in shut downs, commissioning, and process improvement projects. Keeps accurate records; diligent in documentation, record retention policies/procedures. Determines if immediate maintenance action is required; documents it; reports to appropriate personnel. Studying/maintaining site-specific standard operating procedures, P&IDs, PFDs, and all other technical documentation as it relates to operational/equipment processes. Generating initial documentation for on-site contractor, vendor, guest, or visitor site-specific training needs. Escorting on-site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors throughout the facility as needed; ensures their compliance with national safety policies/procedures. Assist in on-site instrument calibration, laboratory testing of samples, and inventory of reagents. Assist delivery of materials on-site, such as chemicals for water treatment, steam production, effluent treatment and general warehouse equipment. Participation in facility safety meetings, inspections of on-site equipment to ensure compliance with requirements. Able to work extended shifts or begin a shift early due to production needs. Willing and able to work overtime as business needs dictate. ____________________ Are you a MATCH? Position Requirements: High School diploma or GED 2 years of related industrial operations or maintenance experience or completion of a 2 year Process Technology Degree Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts. Overall understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, company safety policies/procedures. Performs all work in compliance with standard operating/maintenance procedures, utilizing current Life Saving Rules, Safe Start and safety requirements including safe work permits, energy control isolation, IDLs, confined space entry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job discussions, plant safety inspections, etc. Acquiring knowledge/ability in all plant operations including processes/equipment. Exhibits understanding of governmental regulations including environmental permitting/compliance, loading /quality assurance, basic electricity, national/local operating procedures, CMMS, maintenance management process, all HSE issues associated with the facility. Exhibits mechanical ability. Ability to learn/follow national/local standard operating procedures; follow through on instructions; work with minimal supervision; read/interpret blueprints, flow charts, process piping ISOs, simple schematics, P and IDs, electrical schematics. Perform basic math operations. Basic knowledge/understanding of control board, operating off of operator interface consoles (computer). Basic computer (PC) skills; ability to use required software computer applications. Must be able to wear required PPE safety equipment including, hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, FRC clothing. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
