Combining the dynamism of an international company on a human scale with the solidity of a large group, Seppic forms a team of nearly 800 talented men and women around the world who are passionate about what they do every day, serving their customers and the health, well-being and beauty of all. www.seppic.com The Supply Chain Team Lead will perform the following responsibilities: Ensure highly efficient internal communications with Sales and CSR teams and effectively create efficient sourcing, i.e control stock level to have the proper stock on hand. Manage the monthly S&OP process with the Sales Manager(s) and serve as the point of contact for Sales, Manufacturing, CSR and Finance teams regarding stock levels. Raise the alert to CSR and Sales Teams regarding shortages or need for reallocations. Manage product database through weekly MRP review related to his/her activity: MTO/MTS, MOQ, lead time, etc. for all suppliers including Seppic SA and third parties. Upon completion of the weekly MRP run, liaise with Supply Chain specialists to create orders as required. Provide periodic forecasts to principals in order to anticipate future needs and validate necessary PO’s. Coordinate team priorities and tasks for Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics. Liaise daily with the team members, primarily Sample and Supply Chain specialists, to address issues and escalate to upper management as needed. Oversees importations from France, air shipment and ocean transportation, of finished products. Liaise with the Seppic France Supply Chain team and participate actively in weekly meetings to build the FCL or LCL containers. Ensure flawless integration of exportation processes from the U.S. plant. Prepare, coordinate and lead the monthly “Richmond S&OP” between various teams involved in the process. Manage stock in the warehouses as follows: ensure adequate levels of stock, follow stock control in the IT system, organize, perform routine clean-up and inventory count (including the inventory report). Upon implementation of the EDI, ensure proper procedures of the EDI process are documented. Destroy minimum amount of goods and liaise regularly with the CSR and Sales team to organize the “Good Deal Meeting”. When necessary coordinate recertification of batches with the supplier or Seppic SA. Organize destruction of goods to clean the stock when necessary. Manage relationships and performance of contracts for the warehouse, carrier, broker, and freight forwarder. Using established criteria, select proper carriers and brokers as needed. Coordinate proper ERP database set-up to include supplier price updates. Ensure coordination of samples activities for Sales Team Responsible for proper tracking and archiving of all documentation related to customs to include management of duty drawback. Responsible for making sure proper HTC codes are used for importation of goods. As necessary liaise with Corporate Regulatory affairs and local consultants to confirm the proper HTC code. Coordinate indirect procurement process for Sales purpose. Validate purchase orders entered into ERP by the supply chain specialists, up to the validation limit. Validate monthly invoices of Warehousing partners ensuring resolution of discrepancies. Follow KPI’s, claims, etc. with regular performance review and cost optimization. Serve as key user of ERP Procure to Receive process for Direct and Indirect Procurement and Supply. Support External Audit process Identify and communicate new projects to optimize supply chain,procurement and custom by following and improving OTIF, stock balance, optimization of INCOTERMS and MOQ, etc. __________________ Are you a MATCH? Highly organized and excellent communications. Working knowledge of Microsoft AX Dynamics and ERP principles. Proficient knowledge of supply chain and procurement best practices. Five (5) years Supply Chain or equivalent experience. Fluent French is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams. Good distribution practices (EFFCi and FDA). Bachelor degree, Business Administration or related field.
