Job Description Capital Project Construction Health Safety Security Environmental (HSSE) Lead The HSSE Supervisor part of the Magnolia Capital Project Construction Team, will work to maintain, improve health, safety, security, and environmental components of the Magnolia Capital Project HSSE Management System. As part of the Capital Project Team the role will coach the Project Team and contractors on all aspects of the Albemarle behavior based safety, security, and environmental policies. The role will be an active collaborator enhancing the continuous improvement of HSE leadership across the Magnolia Project Portfolio. Key Responsibilities Support and positively promote the behavior based safety programs through coaching and mentoring all contractors in continuous improvement in HSE performance. Review Contractor Safe Work plans and ISNetworld qualifications/training. Monitor contractor HSE performance & alignment with Albemarle expectation and standards such as Safe Work Plans, JSA (SCAN), LOTO. Facilitate and/or assist with HSSE event investigations. Work collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders to drive a positive health and safety culture. Review Contractor’s Critical lift plans, issue Lift Permits. Own and manage Site based HSSE registers, databases, and records, regularly review for accuracy. Assist in compiling reports in a timely and accurate manner. Attend & contribute to various meetings regarding health & safety performance. Provides Project Team with observations, trends, and improvement recommendations on HSSE performance. Liaises with the Corporate Capital Projects Construction Safety Team to obtain clear interpretations of policy/standards to ensure compliance. Add input/influence to determine the applicability of regulatory requirements for the Site. Develop security management plan that aligns with the Magnolia Facilities Security plan for the Capital Project Portfolio. Ensure and comply with local, state, and national security regulations. Develop Construction Environmental Permitting plan. Documenting the construction specific activities and resources required to support the project execution such as SWIP, Water Usage/Disposal, and ACM disposal permits.
