Here’s the Gist: Wolfspeed is seeking a Facilities Engineering Manager to lead the facilities engineering team at our Farmers Branch, TX facility. In this role you will lead our facilities engineering team accountable for items including, but not limited to system performance, uptime, process control, capital improvements, and capacity. You will partner with other facilities leaders to develop strategic capital plans and objectives aligned to company business strategy. You also promote a safety and quality mindset to your teams through continuous improvement of processes, policies, and procedures. The Day-to-Day Leads a team of engineering system owners across all disciplines (mech, elec, I&C, gas/chem, water/waste water) fostering a collaborative and safe work environment Oversees all facilities capital and capacity project execution Develops technical competency within the whole facilities department to manage all project disciplines Establishes benchmarking programs to study and implement industry best known practices Drives alarm management to help improve system health and emergency response Manages the organization to develop and utilize SPC to measure & improve performance Develops resource requirements to optimize facilities resource allocation & equipment Ownership for all controls system infrastructure and protocols, implementing best known change control and cyber security methods including OT network, SQL database and application servers, data analytics, and Ignition developers Partners with Maintenance and Operations to identify, coordinate, and execute planned and unplanned maintenance across site. Mitigates risk points sustain continuous in-spec operation This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements): Bachelor’s degree in engineering & least 5 years of facilities leadership experience Demonstrated history of using 8D/RCCA process for incident investigation & response Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing or similar high-tech environment such as oil and gas, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals (cleanroom, central plant, process cooling/vacuum/gas &chem) Experience working in a multi-location, global enterprise Exudes deep level of knowledge of industrial facilities operations and best-practices Has knowledge of EH&S operations including OSHA and EPA regulations Experience establishing talent pipelines with local organizations and institutions This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management. #LI-JG1 To put it legally –Wolfspeed is an equal opportunity employer.
