Your Role: Global Operational Excellence Change Agent As a Global Operational Excellence Leader, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and excellence across our manufacturing network. Reporting directly to the M&Q Head of OPEX, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies, processes, and best practices that optimize performance, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational effectiveness. Your Responsibilities: Establish a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other best practices to drive operational excellence initiatives optimizing workflows, eliminating waste, and enhancing overall productivity. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operational processes and foster an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and cross-functional problem-solving. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of operational processes and digital initiatives; Conduct regular performance reviews and data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring intervention. Lead change management efforts associated with process improvements and digital transformation initiatives and provide training and support to employees to enhance their skills and capabilities in adopting new technologies and operational practices. Lead the digital transformation initiatives across all operational functions, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and data analytics. Champion the adoption of digital tools and platforms to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve decision-making capabilities. What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications): Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent level of experience; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) or higher. Required Experience: 5 years of experience in functional management leading and directing individuals and groups and influencing decisions in a matrix organization. 2 years of Operational Excellence related professional experience. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement programs with quantifiable business results. Production Operations Management experience in Pharmaceutical, Animal Health or other highly regulated industry. Ability to connect and influence others without authority. Demonstrated familiarity of manufacturing financials with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement. Additional Information: Location: Elwood, KS (Onsite). Relocation assistance provided for qualified candidates. Travel: Expected 20% travel is required to support the manufacturing sites, dependent on current site/project needs and travel climate.
