Job Description:

The Pharmacist is responsible for the continuation of pharmacy management goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy. The pharmacist provides routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers. Management skills and accuracy are required to ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

· Meet/exceed site budgets. Leverage operating policies, procedures and process to ensure operational excellence (5 R?s). Optimize cost management in line with script counts.

· In coordination with the General Manager, serve as primary owner for Band III accounts, and facility owner for Band I and II accounts in assigned geography.

· Drive organic growth and mitigate risk with existing customer relationships. Negotiate and finalize customer contracts in collaboration with appropriate regional leadership. Collaborate with Sales to drive deal closures and organic growth.

· Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Consultant Pharmacists and appropriate corporate functions to meet overall site goals and objectives. Evaluate the overall results of operations; regularly and systematically report the results to the GM and/or VPO. Ensure that all organization activities and operations are executed in compliance with state and/or federal regulations and laws governing financial and pharmacy operations.

· Ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient information and property.

· Have a thorough understanding of the Customer Pharmacy Services policy and procedure manual.

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D. Must have an active license in the state of work.
