Job Description :

• As the Specialist, you will be part of a small energetic team of biologists, software engineers, and automation experts working to develop better ways.
• You will be responsible for the ordering, accurate accounting of inventory including shipping and receiving, processing, distributing supplies and materials;

and perform a variety of duties including inventory database management, cycle counts, maintenance of materials and generating documents using an internal ticketing system.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate inventory records for all hardware materials, including, consumables, and both mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and anticipate supply needs to prevent stock outs and delays in factory or laboratory operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to place orders for necessary materials and track delivery timelines to ensure timely receipt.
• Perform regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and identify discrepancies. Take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately documented in the inventory management system according to established protocols.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to inventory management, including storage, handling, and disposal of materials.
• Work closely with laboratory staff, procurement team, and other stakeholders to address inventory-related issues and optimize supply chain processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management practices.

Experience :

• Previous experience in inventory management within a life sciences or laboratory setting is preferred. (minimum 2 years’ experience)
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
