US Strategic Metals/Missouri Cobalt is Hiring a Project Administrator Near Fredericktown, MO

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Founded in 2018, US Strategic Metals ("USSM") is a rapidly growing start-up and plays a key role in the domestic energy transition to electric vehicles. As the only vertically integrated producer of Cobalt, Nickel, Lithium, and Copper in the United States, USSM is strategically positioned to supply clean, domestic, and ethically sourced battery metals for lithium-ion batteries, which power electric vehicles and consumer electronics. Specifically, the Company focuses on extracting, recycling, and processing strategic metals for use in the high-performance battery market. USSM owns a historic mine in Fredericktown, Missouri, and is building a hydrometallurgical processing facility with the ability to convert both mined minerals and recycled battery material into salable battery metals.

Responsibilities

· To organize, maintain and control all documentation associated with the project both online and offline. Coordinate with engineering team to catalogue deliverables and information from engineering firms, vendors and contractors working on the project.

· Project Sharepoint Organization and Document Control. Assist Project manager in organizing SharePoint.

· Receiving documents from engineering firms, vendors and contractors and distributing them to the correct folders.

· Communicating pertinent information to the team members.

· Project organization with other software platforms.

· E-mail out and upload files to share updates with internal and external team members.

· Upload submittals into to be approved by other team members.

· Update information in writing purchase requisitions and purchase orders is a plus.

· Communicating with vendors/contractors for information.

· Able to contact vendors/contractors by phone, email and online business chat methods like teams and zoom.

· Strong communication skills and ability to convey information that deals with heavy industry and construction.

Skills/Requirements

· High School Diploma required,

· Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· 3 years’ experience working with project management administration, document control and/or work as an administrative assistant.

· Valid Driver’s License preferred

· Completion of any certifications in heavy industry, mining, energy, construction or related fields preferred

· Completion of any relevant software training courses preferred

· Effective communication skill

· Ability to Plan, organize, tolerate stress, analytical, and innovative

· Experience working with project management software – preferably Procore, but other project management software is a plus

· Experience working with CMMS Software – preferably eMaintenace , but other CMMS experience is a plus
