The GS-13 salary range starts at $103,409 per year and varies by location.
To qualify at the GS-13: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that demonstrates expert knowledge of procedures and practices concerning maintenance of property facilities, utility systems, buildings and equipment; mastery of facility administration/buildings management operations and the technical aspects of various problems sufficient to determine appropriate facility maintenance procedures; and comprehensive knowledge of operating and maintenance systems including chillers, boilers (low and high-pressure), air handlers, air-filtration systems, energy management systems (EMS), etc.
