As a ServiceNow developer, your responsibilities are to develop, install and troubleshoot ServiceNow applications and workflows. This includes working with other developers across the organization to build and maintain integrations. The ServiceNow developer must stay current on platform enhancements and how these can be used to provide better options to meet customer needs on the platform.

What you will do:

• Knowledge of our ServiceNow instance including incident, Knowledge, Problem, Change, Service Request and CMDB modules
• Gaining new Knowledge about ServiceNow through self-motivated online learning and through official ServiceNow courses provided.
• Follow ITIL best practices for system maintenance and platform upgrades.
• Implementing and maintaining integrations into the platform.
• Work with team lead & process/service owners to implement platform solutions to support configuration management process and polices.
• Customizing e-mail notification, ticket SLAs and form fields.
• Staying up to date with the latest releases, product enhancements and plugins.
• Attending courses provided by ServiceNow to stay current on the technology.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful:

• Experience with ServiceNow platform development
• JavaScript
• Web technologies – HTML or XML
• API integrations
• ServiceNow ITSM Catalog configuration
• Conceptual understanding of ITIL version 3
