This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) in Lakewood, CO.
At the full performance level (GS-09)the major duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:
1. Review grant reports for accuracy and completion.
2. Ensure the reports meet the requirements in accordance with the 2 CFR 200, DOI and OSM policies.
3. Explain or justify decisions, conclusions, findings, or recommendations.
4. Perform lower level grants management functions such as uploading documents into grant management, record keeping and financial systems, find audit reports and SAM and FAPIS reports for the grant recipients.
5. Assist higher graded Grant Management Officers and Specialists with grant actions as developmental assignments.
The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.
Financial Disclosure: You will be required to file an Employment and Financial Interest-OGE-450.
Salary Range Information:
GS-09: $ 66,670 - $ 86,670 per annum.
First time hires to the federal government typically start at the beginning salary in the range for their respective grade level.
