Inspect contractor's performance at owner's residence and at warehouse during packing, crating, loading, shipping, unloading, uncrating and unpacking.
Counsel members regarding policies and procedures for the proper preparation of personal property for shipment and/or storage, including specialized items, to domestic and overseas locations.
Resolve controversial procedural problems involving entitlements of Department of Defense (DoD) members and requirements for the contactor to perform specific services.
Inspect crates and material for overseas or domestic shipment, reject those not meeting specifications and may halt work and/or notify contracting officer for noncompliance with contract.
Serve as a Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE), functionally qualified to ensure the Air Force receives quality contractor performed services and pays only for acceptable services received.
