This experience must include some of the following: (1) provides customer service in person, by phone, and email (2) maintains calendars and schedules appointments and meetings for others (3) reminds supervisor of appointments and furnishes information from files or schedules or briefings(4) makes arrangements for conferences and meetings, including such matters as location, schedule, agenda and attendance list (5) receives, tracks, and prepares correspondence (6) utilizes computer to prepare and edit reports, correspondence, charts, etc.(7) establishes and maintains files consistent with records retention for both paper and digital records (8) serves as a timekeeper for payroll and purchaser for goods and services. AND MUST INCLUDE (1) experience performing more complex activities while receiving instructions orally. (2) demonstrates activities where policy is unclear and does not exist, instructions are general in nature and involves coordination of others to complete assignments.
There is no substitution of education for experience at the grade level(s) of this announcement.
A selectee receiving a first appointment to the Federal Government (Civil Service) is entitled only to the lowest step of the grade for which selected. The display of a salary range on this vacancy shall not be construed as granting an entitlement to a higher rate of pay.
This announcement may be used to fill additional positions if identical vacancies occur within 90 days of the issue date of the referral certificate.
Promotion to the full performance level is neither guaranteed nor implied and will be based solely on your ability to satisfactorily perform the work of the position, existing work at the higher grade level, and recommendation by the position's supervisor.
