Physical Demands: The work performed requires moderately heavy physical effort and involves lifting and moving objects over 40 pounds and occasionally objects weighing over 23 kilograms (50 pounds). Custodial workers must move and control heavy equipment, carry and set up ladders and scaffolding, and work from ladders and scaffolds. Grade 2 custodial workers must move and control heavy equipment, carry and set up ladders and scaffolding, and work from ladders and scaffolds.
