Job Summary: The Production Operator performs basic functions to operate various machines and equipment. An operator may unload raw materials, prepare a test run to ensure a machine is working properly, inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities: - None.
Duties and Responsibilities: When required will include, but not limited to:
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to use / read micrometer, calibers, height, go-no go gauges
· Able to determine simple machine adjustments (offsets) from measurements
· Able to use computer to record measurement data
· Good time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
· Must be able to work as part of a team and be a productive team member
· Must be able to wear PPE
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent desirable
· 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
