This position is being filled under AcqDemo Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for non-acquisition positions involving 51% or more of time in direct support of acquisition positions within Business and Technical Management Professional Career path.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
As a IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC) at the NH-2210-3 broadband level some of your typical work assignments may include:
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
This position may be eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
Other Notes:
This is an Information Assurance Workforce/Cybersecurity position coded Level II in the Management Category (IAM). Selectee must have at the time of permanent appointment or achieve within 6 months of EOD the appropriate baseline certification IAW DoD 8140.01-M. Selectee must acquire continuing education requirements IAW the governing body for their certification. Certification must be maintained as long as the employee remains in the position.
