*Job Summary:*
U.S Medical Staffing is seeking a few Reliable Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) In Suffolk County for transportation cases. This would be for the summer and next school year. These cases would be roughly 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Nurse would ride the bus to and from school to accompany students with medical needs. We are looking for a few school distrcts in the surrounding west islip area's. We are also looking for Per Diem Nurses to sub during the day and these can be scheduled around the transportation cases to make the most out of the nurses day.
*Job Responsibilities are but not limited to:*
* Nurse would be responsible for professional medical treatment of students.
* Maintaining clinical records.
* Dispensing prescriptions medications to students per physician instructions.
* Documenting all Medication given to students.
* Working Diligently along side the other nurses to run a smooth office.
* Providing emergency aid to students and school staff
* Educating students on hygiene and safety practices
* Contacting parents when needed
* Riding the school bus with student to and from school
*Job Requirements:*
* Current NYS Registered Nurse
* NYS Registered Nurse Nursing Registration
* BCLS or ACLS -The American Heart Association
* Physical (WITHIN ONE YEAR)
* PPD, Chest X-Ray or QuantiFERON Gold TB blood results
* MMR/Titers Lab Report
* Two forms for government ID’s
* Fingerprinted by the DOE
