Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Remote Configuration and Support Specialist to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and technical support for the Remote Configuration and Support team, supporting multiple large global accounts at a specific customer location in Charlotte NC. What You’ll Do

• Responsible for programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and technical support.

• Delivers assigned project reports and data to both customer and supervisors. 

• Acts as key interface for technical support between customer and colleague to maximize customer satisfaction.

• May mentor less-experienced staff.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.

• Technical skills and/or experience related to DMP Programming, Remote Link, Entre’, Verint and MASterMind.

• Must be a self-starter and work well without direct supervision.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Electronic Security experience is helpful.

• Detail oriented, and advanced computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint) and proficient in other relevant applications such as Smartsheet.

Requirements:

Education: High School/GED or equivalent 

Minimum Experience: 1-3 years of previous, relevant field experience required.

Intrusion and Video experience: DMP/Entre’, MASterMind and Verint

JOB REQUIREMENT - High Speed Internet This this is a remote position and requires video over the internet which could fail with slow connection speeds.
